MEETING TO WELCOME NEW MEMBERS

I’m sure the first meeting was nerve wracking for us all. We did a quick go round of who we were and why we had been attracted to the opportunity to join a cohousing development. My immediate sense was of our common desire for a more communal and sustainable way of life in Melbourne. Many of us held professional roles working on aspects of sustainability. I was delighted and humoured by our diversity of social situation and age. What’s the odds of having more than one Viking and circus acrobat in a group?! We soon realised that, potentially, we held many valuable ingredients that would benefit the carriage of the project.
